The Club of St. Lawrence, Mangalore is is one of the oldest Mangalorean Catholic clubs in Bombay, whose registration name dates back to 1932. It was started by young Mangalorean Catholic men who came to Bombay seeking employment. It offered cheap living rates to those Mangaloreans hoping to find employment in Bombay.[1]
