Lawrence Lobo Prabhu (1805–1883) was an eminent member of the 19th century Mangalorean Catholic community, best remembered as the donor of the original site of St.Aloysius College (Mangalore). He was a munsiff, which was about the highest judicial position that a native could expect to attain in British India. He possessed vast acres of land in Mangalore including the whole of Ediyah Hill (now known as Lighthouse Hill), a portion of which he donated to the Italian Jesuits for the foundation of St. Aloysius College.

His wife was Ignatia Tellis. His eldest son was Antony Peter Lobo. He is the paternal great-great grandfather of the Mangalorean genealogist Michael Lobo.
