Yes. Mangaloreans Catholics in Calcutta numbered not more than 50 as reported in The Mangalorean Review of 1930. Some had merged their identity with the Anglo-Indians of Calcutta, and Mangalore held no fascination for them, very few being enthusiastic about the community.[1]
